(New York, NY, July 23, 2020) Multifaceted artist Ramiro Fauve is set to release his new single, “She’s Only Gone” on Friday, July 31st, 2020. The new track is the second release off Ramiro Fauve’s twenty-six track double album, Where Rivers Cross Vols. 1 & 2, out on OCTOBER 6TH, 2020. In the album, Fauve incorporates a modern contemporary spin into his traditional country roots, showcasing his musical inspirations as well as tapping into some intimate emotions.
In “She’s Only Gone”, Ramiro Fauve reminisces on memories with a past love as he walks through an area filled with reminders of her. In true country form, Fauve conveys the message that life carries on after heartbreak. Through rhythmic guitar playing, piano, bass and drums, “She’s Only Gone” reminds listeners to move on and look forward to future endeavors.
Son of the award-winning folk singer/songwriter Suni Paz (Smithsonian Folkways artist, NEA National Heritage Fellowship Award), Fauve sees himself simply as a storyteller. He is also known for his creative direction in the unique 1920s themed lounge, The Edison, as well as in the renovation of the historic cafe, Clifton’s in Downtown, Los Angeles. Fauve has painted countless mega-murals such as the “LA Marathon Year 2026” mural and album art “Tupac Starry Night”, for Tupac Shakur's commemorative album, “R U Still Down?".

lyrics
SHE'S ONLY GONE
I was out on Bells Bend one evening
And I took a walk along the old Square
Then I spent the rest of the night haunting the Ryman
Chasing papers in the air
Everything was splendid, nearly wonderful
But every little place, it had a memory
So I spent the rest of the night
In conversation with the man inside of me
He said, you’re gonna be alright, she’s only gone
You have just to carry on
Nothing more and nothing less
So, I’m gonna be alright, she’s only gone
I have just to carry on
Nothing lost and nothing left
Oh, there’s nothin’ wrong
She’s only gone
I found myself in California
Searching for light in sunny Bonneville
Then I nearly lost my mind New York City
In an ever-present chill
Tomorrow morning is my horizon
Just knowing there’s a step to take in front of me
Now I spend a lot more time in congregation
With my friends and family
They say, you’re gonna be alright, she’s only gone
You have just to carry on
Nothing more and nothing less
So I’m gonna be alright, she’s only gone
I have just to carry on
Nothing lost and nothing left
I’m holding on the best I can
Still asking why
Wonder if I’ll always see her
In all these faces passing by
They say, you’re gonna be alright, she’s only gone
I have just to carry on
Nothing more and nothing less
So, I’m gonna be alright, she’s only gone
I have just to carry on
Nothing lost and nothing left
Oh, there’s nothing wrong
She’s only gone
She’s only gone and nothing more, my friend
So welcome home again
